FUN PHOTOS FROM AUGUST 2002

These pictures are from the combination work/fun trip I made to the Chicago suburbs in August 2002, plus a couple family photos just before and after that. Hope you enjoy them. If you click on an image, you can see a version of it that is bigger, in case you want to drool over any of us.

Let's start things off right with a photo by Declan of his favorite really ugly cave troll toy. Photos can only get better from here.

Here is Kynan demonstrating both the cuteness of our pug, Scrunchy AND the very blue afghan I made for him.

Now I am in Schaumburg at the LLLI World Walk for Breastfeeding. This is my "boss," Tami Harris in her lovely Walk t-shirt.

This is my most dearest pal Nancy Jo and Deb, the Illinois ACE. I get to go to that conference in October!

It's me and a bunch of LLL Directors: Judy Torgus (publications), Barbara Emanuel (USWD) and Alice Barbiere (former EUS).

I was supposed to take a bunch of bf photos for Dave, but people kept moving before I got to them, and this was the only one I got.

This baby was so funny sticking her foot way up. My idea of amusing I guess.

These are some of my coworkers at the Walk potluck. Let's see, it is Shawn Cobbs, Sheryl Denson and her kids, Carol Kolar, Rebecca Magalhaes and Nancy Jo.

More coworkers, at the merchandise table. Judy Torgus, Annette Liebowitz and Mary Hurt.

This is poor Carol Pendergrast trapped in the ball jumping place.

The next day, I tried to get nice photos of me and Lynne Coates, so we had to go outdoors for a good backdrop of scenic trees.

Look, it's me and Lynne at a different angle. Dave says always take two photos. In both these photos we appear to be slanting.

Going against his rule, here is ONE photo of me and another bestest pal, David Arendt, who hates photos of himself. You can't see the darned ponytail, either.

Barbara E. is showing how much she loves our impromptu office, filled with Macintosh computers and their power cords.

It was Katherine Solan's last day of work at LLLI, and she was treated like a queen. Here she practices queenliness.

She even perfected the queenly wave.

Anne Gaskell is the Executive Director at LLLI and she flies in all the way from England. No wonder she looks tired. Hee hee.

More of my bestest pals, this is Louis Lang and John Bradford in their yuppie suburban apartment.

Ooh, they REALLY are my bestest pals. Don't be jealous Janet, if you were there, they'd do this for you, too!

The next day, Louis and Nancy Jo and I went to the Rennaissance Faire in Wisconsin. They see something really intriguing! I didn't take a picture of that.

Now Nancy Jo and I see something! And are showing off our cool new ear cuffs. Subtle, huh.

Louis is hot, dusty, tired of rolling his sleeves up so his henna will dry, and having an irritating phone call. Isn't he cute?

Kynan the 6th grader with his home tuba. Sure is loud.

Now he is actually playing the thing. He is better now. Not like you can hear it on a web page.

The back yard. Too shady for much detail.
But there are no evil weeds.

Just nice ones.
